"More, Mommy!"

A few days ago, Elaina surprised me. I was cooking dinner and she was fussy. She pulled herself up on my leg and then signed, "More!" as clear as anything. I remembered she hadn't eaten much lunch, and now it was after 6pm. She was trying to tell me she was hungry! Bless her heart. I quickly put her in her high chair and began feeding her - she shoveled it in faster than anything. Not knowing yet how to sign "hungry", she signed something we practice at the table, which means "more food!" I just had to laugh at this. So smart, and so adorable! :)
