Elaina's first time trick-or-treating was such a hoot. She loves running around knocking on doors anyway! I think she caught on to the idea pretty quickly, and even signed "thank you" several times after receiving candy (we've been working on "please" and "thank you" signs lately...). We went to a neighborhood in High Point, where we were invited to a Halloween party by another pilot Scott works with. Elaina truly had a blast. She was a black cat, though some people thought she was a panda bear! She just loved walking all over that neighborhood seeing everyone out, looking at everything. Little did she know that after she went to bed, Daddy and I stayed up and ate most of her candy stash! We laughed about telling her this when she's older...they'll be plenty of time for her to eat her own candy then. :)
