It's a Bird, it's a Plane!

Lately, Elaina has been very aware of both birds and airplanes flying around. When she sees a bird, she says, "Caw, Caw!" which actually sounds quite like the birds! She loves to watch them fly. Then when she hears an airplane - even while indoors - she points to the sky, stops to listen, and makes the "whooosh!" sound I taught her. One time, she even placed 2 leggos together to make a T shape, and proceeded to 'fly' it around the living room, saying "whoosh!" as she went. Can you tell this girl's a pilot's daughter?! SO cute. (Daddy witnessed this, and it definitely made him proud!) It's just amazing what she picks up every day, and how much she actually understands. She also says "bubbles"(bu-bus) when she wants me to blow bubbles for her to chase. We do this at Little Gym, and a lot at home, too, in the driveway. Another cute thing she's been doing is waving to EVERYBODY she sees, including every car that drives by. Most of the time they don't even see her waving at them, but some people will see her and smile and wave back. She's so friendly and aware of people around her. Quite the social girl! We're coming up on 15 months this week! She's looking like more of the toddler now, for sure. How I love my little girl...
