Random Elaina Accomplishments...

I'm posting these so I don't forget to tell our family all Elaina has been up to these days. She:

*turns the pages of her books as we read them to her - right on cue!
*listens to her alphabet song on her LeapFrog magnet - then when it finishes, she presses the button again, and will keep doing this continuously!
*says "oo-weee"
*getting better at waving 'bye-bye
*learned how to sign "all done" in her high chair!
*starting to take steps along the windowsills as she holds onto them
*has her "pooping place" under the kitchen table, each morning like clockwork!
*kisses the textured animals in her touch-n-feel animal book each time we read it
*turned the pages of her baby bible on her own today, smiling at the pages
*mastering how to turn and twist the levers on her pop-up toy
*claps her hands while she's eating, or when we say "yeah!!!"
*wearing all 12 month clothing now!
*21 pounds!
*loves strolling around in her new orange umbrella stroller
*went to the park and rode in the baby swing there for the first time!
*feeds herself like a pro! (sans utensils of course)

Can't believe we are nearly a month away from her first birthday. I'm having fun planning her little party! We're going to do something small here with friends first, and then celebrate on her actual birthday (July 4) with family! We can't wait. Happy Memorial Day everyone! Praise God for our amazing military men and women!
