Our New Church Home

After months of visiting half a dozen churches or more, we have finally found our new church home. Scott and I couldn't be any more thrilled!! We believe God has clearly led us to Westover Church, here in Greensboro. What's kind of funny is that this is the first church we had visited when we first moved to Greensboro nearly 4 years ago. We know God is sovereign over us attending our other church for 3+ years, and we're thankful for that season of our lives. But now we look forward to what God has for us at Westover and how we can get involved there. You can check it out at www.westoverchurch.com Scott and I attended the Newcomers Class there this morning after service, and will continue to for the next couple of weeks. As of right now, we plan on continuing on to the membership classes, getting Elaina dedicated soon, and getting involved serving! Everyone we have met there has been so king, welcoming, and sincere. They are also committed to preaching and studying the Word of God, without apology. And the worship is fabulous, a perk for us music lovers and something we really enjoy. We really love the pastor, who personally replied to Scott's email and would like to meet Scott for lunch, which was very encouraging (as big as Westover is). Overall, we are just very ENCOURAGED. We are praising God for His clear affirmation and leadership over this vital area of our lives!!!!
